The first time I visited the Pinault Collection at Bourse de Commerce was to view Kimsooja's To Breathe — Constellation — a mirror covering the entire floor of the rotunda, turning the dome above into an abyss beneath your feet. For my latest visit, I was drawn back by Cloud #07156, a fog sculpture by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya.

Last June, during my two-month sabbatical, I decided to visit the Louis Vuitton Foundation (LVF) in Boulogne. The idea was birthed out of wanting to shift from consuming Instagram content to experiencing true art. I have felt so disillusioned with social media these past few years, and I realised I was doing far more consuming than creating.

The jet-lag is still fresh as I write. I’ve just come back from a nine-day trip to Luang Prabang (LP), Laos. The reason for the trip was an assignment to cover the inaugural Discovering the Art of Documentary Filmmaking workshop hosted by my dear friends at Aglaia Docufilms.
